My name is Aashita Verma, a 46‑year‑old artist and a proud mother of two grown‑up sons. Art has always been my first love. It started as a hobby that stayed close to my heart for many years. I graduated in Textile Design twenty‑five years ago. This education gave me a strong understanding of color, texture, and creative expression. Over time, life responsibilities took priority. However, my love for art never faded. Today, I am reconnecting with that passion and giving it the space it truly deserves.
I now dedicate more time and energy to exploring my artistic journey. I enjoy experimenting with vibrant colors and expressive mixed media techniques. My artworks often combine crayons, pencil colors, and acrylic paints. These materials help me create depth, movement, and emotional richness in every piece. Each painting becomes a reflection of my thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences. Sometimes my work also captures imagination and quiet inner moments.

Art has always been more than just a creative activity for me—it has been my first love and the most natural way for me to express emotions that words often cannot capture. From my childhood sketches to my formal education in textile design, creativity has always guided my journey and shaped the way I see the world.
I completed my graduation in textile design twenty-five years ago, where I developed a strong understanding of colors, textures, patterns, and visual storytelling. This experience helped me see how different elements come together to create depth, harmony, and emotion in art. However, as life moved forward, I embraced many new roles and responsibilities. The most meaningful of these has been becoming a proud mother of two wonderful sons, a role that has brought immense joy and purpose to my life.
Even through life’s many changes, my connection with art never faded. Instead, it quietly grew with my experiences and slowly transformed from a simple interest into a deeper passion. Now, as I reconnect with the contemporary art world, it feels more inspiring and limitless than ever before.
My background in textile design continues to influence my work, especially through texture, layering, color harmony, and rhythm—elements that naturally find their way into my contemporary and mixed media creations.
